During the dreaded Covid outbreak and the long, two years that people had to stay confined to their homes it became the norm to use social media and find digital ways of working and communicating. Ordinary people stopped going out to the office and stayed at home on the instructions of the Prime Minister. When it came time to return to the outside world a lot of formally confidant staff found it difficult to go back to the office and communicate in person again. Many forward-thinking companies offered their staff the opportunity to attend Public speaking courses held by professionals such as https://www.collegeofpublicspeaking.co.uk so that they could learn the art of communication once again.

Learning all sorts of valuable skills such as how to relax and use simple breathing techniques to stay calm and focused are just two ways to become more confident when communicating with others.  The use of personal anecdotes and experiences alongside the art of preparation and keeping things simple when you speak are two more ways to become fluent at communicating again. Remember to keep eye-to-eye contact with people you are talking to, listen to what they have to say and ask questions.
